Isn’t it funny how no matter how much you think you’ve got it together, sometimes you just…don’t? I had a day two days ago that came out of no where. One minute I was fine, going about my business, writing articles, chatting with JB. The next minute I was having a panic attack on the way home from the post office. I have no clue what brought it on. It was just there. And it hit me so hard that I spent the rest of the day laying on the couch, barely able to move, binging on Grey’s Anatomy and crying.
Just a little reminder — to you and to myself: we all have days when we just can’t handle it anymore. We break. We crumble. We cry. It’s ok. You are allowed! But remember that you don’t have to go through it alone. Pick up the phone and call someone. Reach out. If you need to, call a hotline. But talk to someone. Because it is easy to get lost in that space. It’s easy to just fall further and further into the comfort of your bed or your couch. And the further you fall, the harder it is to get out.
Hugs loves. It’s hard. I know.
